State School Teachers` Certified Agreement 2019

October 9, 2021

The ACTPS Education Directorate (Teaching Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2018-2022 was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 15 August 2019 and replaces the ACTPS Education and Training Directorate (Teaching Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2014-2018. The agreement entered into force on 22 August 2019 and expires nominally on 30 September 2022. The agreement can be found below: if there is a vacancy, teachers must first be recruited on a permanent basis. If this is not possible, the department encourages schools to pursue temporary engagements at least until the end of the first half of 2020 to ensure the continued employment of teachers within the system in the face of an imminent shortage of teachers who have completed two years of service on November 19 (certification date), are now allowed to receive an invitation for the transition process for temporary work. Anyone who has this service and who does not have a job for next year should first contact their sponsor and contact the regional human resources department. You must indicate that, in accordance with the new certified agreement, you are now allowed to convert permanently. The certified agreement obliges the Ministry of Education to provide effective work practices that support well-being, work-life balance and a safe working environment. When a medical specialist service becomes substantially vacant, the school can verify the allocation of NCT, but each of the specialized services must provide at least the minimum time allowance mentioned above. This is the unspecified NCT classification, which can be provided in another form.

It is important to note that when creating a position with a type of delivery similar to that of a pe, music or language specialist (for example.B. A dance teacher who delivers the dance to Prep-6 or Prep-3, and then reports on each student, is also subject to the conditions of the specialized teacher. The new certified agreement reduces the number of eligible services from three to two years, which represents a significant gain for beginning teachers. This means that more teachers are now eligible for conversion, and those who are not yet allowed will be so fast. . . .
