An internet marketer who talks my language

September 26, 2006

I listened to a podcast today between Scott Boulch (mentioned yesterday) and a chap by the name of John Jonas. Can’t say I’ve heard of him before, but got to say, here’s a man who talks my language. He’s got two sites, his personal blog, and What’s Crap and What’s Not, a review site covering all the latest in ebooks and Adsense/ make money programs. Suffice to say he won’t be on Joel Comm’s Christmas card list this year…or a whole pile of other people’s either for that matter. Worth a look.

  1. Duncan,

“What’s Crap” looks like a beauty of a site – and something well overdue, imho.

What lots of people don’t realize is that all these “guru’s” stick together in their tight-knit little groups all promoting each other’s products when it’s there turn. It’s very incestuous.

No wonder the avergae consumer is cynical and jaded.

  2. I had a quick look at WCWN.com and it is a pretty informative site. Most of these info guides have at least one or two gems of information, but it is not something I am going to pay $80-$150 for.

    Nice find.

Sorry for the plug, but I thought you might enjoy my video of the Tokyo Game Show:
