As posted on the Blog Herald

Duncan Riley> My friend Fiindlay Osborn recently posted to his blog, designed by yours truly, excusing his hiatus from posting comment to his blog. The reason being “local happenings”. Fin is a relatively new convert to blogging and a strong convert at that. However the notion of apologising for not posting regularly in a notion that provides a wonderful ideal of loyalty to the blogosphere that is often lacking from many bloggers, and of late, from myself as well, for as Fin has, stated local events have prevented me for the better part of the last three months of providing unique comment to the Blog Herald and my personal blog duncanriley.com. For those outside Australia, those “local” events are the 2004 Australian Federal Election.
I will not discuss my political views here, because despite the occasional and Federal Level. As a consequence my pre-eminent focus has been on the retention of my employer, and as such my own employment, to the behest of the Blog Herald; in deed I even considered selling the site to a would-be suitor who recently made me a fairly competitive offer for the site. Whilst I won?ɬ¢?¢‚Äö¬¨?¢‚Äû¬¢t promise to never sell the site, the offer was not fair compare to the loyalty of the readers of the site to the information and broad blogging news that I, and my loyal submitters, have provided over the last 2 years.

To my loyal readers my apologies for the lack of original comment of late. After October 9, my focus will return to the Blog Herald and duncanriley.com. In the mean time if you’d like to submit new commentary or posts feel free to email me with them. This site is as only good as its readers and it?ɬ¢?¢‚Äö¬¨?¢‚Äû¬¢s the 1400 unique viewers per day, with out you this site is nothing
regards
Duncan
