Rabbincal Council: no innocents

August 3, 2006

Something very, very wrong with this, but I’ll leave it at that, don’t want to be accused of being anti-semetic…

From ynetnews.com:

The Yesha Rabbinical Council announced in response to an IDF attack in Kfar Qanna that “according to Jewish law, during a time of battle and war, there is no such term as ‘innocents’ of the enemy.”

All of the discussions on Christian morality are weakening the spirit of the army and the nation and are costing us in the blood of our soldiers and civilians,” the statement said. (Efrat Weiss)

hmmm….bomb the sh*t out of innocent people and that’s ok…sounds a lot like Islam doesn’t it?

Eww, that statement is just not so right. I mean,
you can’t say sound like Islam becos that is a religion. And it will stir unwanted tension. I am not a moslem, but I respect them with their beliefs.
And referring to the statement by the rabbi.. hmm, sometimes, people just love to manipulate their theology background to do whatever they want to.
    sigh~
